About the Business

WUSD Summer Institute Intern:
Each year, Washington Unified conducts a Summer Institute for students in Grades K through 8, who are either English Learners, Dual Immersion students, or students in the Special Education Program. This summer's program will serve over 400 students and will be housed at Elkhorn Village Elementary School

Educational Services:
The Washington Unified School District serves ~7800 students a year. The district operates seven TK-8th grade elementary schools, one traditional high school, one alternative high school, and one middle college high school. The district offers expanded learning program opportunities to all WUSD students enrolled in the TK-8th grade school sites. Our department oversees the Expanded Learning Programs which before and after school programming as well as programming during the winter, spring, and summer breaks.
