WEST SACRAMENTO PROMISE

Program Overview
Every student who graduates from a Washington Unified School District (WUSD) high school is automatically admitted to Sacramento City College and may attend fee-free for two years. Students can also attend tuition-free for two years through the California College Promise or the Los Rios College Promise.

Studies show that College Promise programs create higher year to year persistence rates, resulting in higher postsecondary credential completion rates, including completion of a certificate, AA degree or bachelor’s degree.

Determine Your Eligibility

  • Must be a current resident of West Sacramento.

  • Must enroll full time (12 units) at Sacramento City College within six months of graduation from the Washington Unified School District.
