Mandatory Qualifications
Interns must be 16 years old by June 10th, 2024. River City High School students must have completed at least one course in one of WUSD’s Career Technical Education Pathways. View qualifying courses here. Yolo High School and Washington Middle College students must have a recommendation form filled out by a teacher or counselor. All participants must have also viewed an online informational session about the internships offered by the Home Run team. Responsibilities
• Partner and collaborate with teams to implement digital marketing campaigns
• Assist in writing captions and creating engaging content for a variety of social platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and X.
• Regularly track social analytics and share findings with the wider team to find opportunities for optimizing social media engagement and growth
• Monitor social media inbox and comments
•Prep for weekly Marketing Meetings
•Conduct research, relevant industry trends and platforms
•Administrative work as needed
•Program and schedule social media content

Preferred Abilities
Must be familiar with social media platforms and posting on Instagram, Facebook, and X. Graphic design skills using applications like Canva, Adobe Illustrator or others. Experience with Microsoft Office. Follow oral and written instructions. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
